Fixing Mud and Wheel Balance During Winter or Rainy Periods

During the winter (and in rainy periods) mud can collect inside the wheels next to the brake rotors and dry up in clumps. These clumps can throw your wheels out of balance. If you're feeling the classic out-of-balance wheel vibration, check for mud inside the wheels before you pay someone to pull them off and balance them. It's always a good idea to periodically have all 4 wheels balanced at a tire shop. Wheel weights can fall of and you will feel shaking in the steering wheel. Of course wheels are always balanced when new tires are installed also.
