Jaguar XJ6 Parts Catalog (1969-1987)

The XJ6 which was also called the Series 3, is a 4 door sedan, with an inline 6 cylinder 4.2 liter engine. It was sold in the USA from 1979 thru 1987. It was available worldwide with a 12 cylinder engine as an XJ12. It also came as a 2 door coupe which was an XJ6C. There were different trim packages which were the Sovereign and Vanden Plas. Most XJ6 models were Short Wheel Base versions but some like the Vanden Plas models were Long Wheel Base so the rear passengers had more leg room. The Series 3 XJ6 cars were fuel injected, had a Borg Warner automatic transmission, sliding sunroof panels, 2 fuel tanks, leather seats, and the regular standard options for cars in the 1980's. Horsepower was very low at 205hp. The car was a luxury sedan built for long relaxing drives. Handling wasn't that great either.
